Course Description

Attend our one-day virtual course on infection control during construction, renovation, and maintenance of health care facilities. The course will be an overview of the fundamentals and application of the requirements of Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Group, Standard CSA Z317.13-22 (Revised October 22)

Course Requirements

It is mandatory, that each attendee have a registered copy of CSA Standard Z317.13-22 Infection control during construction, renovation, and maintenance of health care facilities (Published in 2022). Attendees who currently have a registered copy of the standard are not required to purchase a new one. All attendees must provide proof of purchase or registered copy to obtain their course certificate.

Ryan D’Arcy
Senior Project Manager, Indoor Environmental Quality Group

Ryan D’Arcy is a Senior Project Manager and Infection Control Practice Specialist in the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) group at Pinchin Ltd. Ryan is also the National Infection Control Specialist at Pinchin. He has been employed by Pinchin Ltd. since 2009.

Ryan has over 15 years of experience in performing and managing over 3,000 indoor environmental consulting projects on behalf of Pinchin Ltd., including management programs, preparing technical specifications and tender documents, abatement/remedial solutions design, mould/water damage assessments, IAQ and odour assessments, smoke and fire damage, smoke migration, infection control in healthcare facilitates and quality assurance monitoring during hazardous building materials and mould remediation, reinstatement and renovation projects. This experience extends to healthcare, industrial, commercial, government, community housing, and residential projects. The client projects range from single site assessment to multi-building portfolios. Ryan provides training for the healthcare industry on the CSA Standard Z317.13-22 both internally to Pinchin staff and externally.
