Radtrak³ detectors can be used to measure your home or building's radon levels using the same reliable alpha-track technology as our previously offered Radtrak² detectors, but in a more compact, environmentally friendly design, with increased sensitivity.

These long-term radon detectors are ideal for test durations ranging from 91 days to one year. It is recommended that you conduct your tests between the months of October and April when radon levels are more likely to be elevated. If your tests are not fully conducted between October and April, we recommend that your detectors be deployed for one year.

Each long-term kit includes the following:

• Three Radtrak³ long-term radon detectors
• Chain of custody form
• Detailed detector deployment instruction sheet
• Pre-addressed return envelope (please note: return postage is not included)
• Laboratory analysis of your detector
• Follow-up radon monitoring report with all three of your measurements (sent via e-mail)

Your radon monitoring report will include a recommended mitigation timeframe, as per Health Canada's guidelines, which you can refer to should any of your radon measurements be elevated. You will also be connected with a Pinchin contact who will be able to assist with any questions you might have regarding your radon measurements or mitigation solutions, if applicable.
